Nursing 420 Community Assessment: Home

Welcome!

Welcome to our Research Guide for Nursing 420, a starting point for your research. Please use the tabs above to find quality resources. If you need more assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me or one of the other reference librarians. We're always happy to help!

Electronic Reserves

Your professors may place articles and other documents in Electronic Reserves. They will need to provide you with a password to access the articles. The articles are accessible 24/7.

DVDs and other items may be placed in Library Reserves and have a restricted borrowing period. They may be checked out during regular library hours.

Medical Pronunciations

Unsure of how to pronounce medical terms? Just use this tool from the Merck Manuals Online Medical Library.  You will need audio capability on your computer to use this site.  No new page will display when you click on a word. Just wait a second and you will hear the pronunciation of the term on your speakers or headphones.
