There are any number of cross genres items as well; you may find fairy tales that are juvenile fiction or legends that are classified as literature (nonfiction).

Many of these resources are picture books; not all picture books are for young children. The traditional literature genre is complex with stories, such as those written by the Brother's Grimm.
