  • Prompt Example:  In 15-30 words, explain photosynthesis to a freshman in college using accessible language.
  • Choose a topic of interest and/or related to your field. Craft a prompt for ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini.
  • Explore your prompt for common mistakes. Is it vague, does it include overly complex wording, what tone or format did you select, and was context provided?
  • Improve your prompt for a better AI response. Refine the results! Ask for clarification, ask follow up questions, and test the use different prompt styles.
  • Discuss the differences between prompts. Were you able to improve your results?
