The XR conference room provides a physical space for using the XR/VR HoloLens technology. It will be used to develop active and experiential learning workshops and activities for students, faculty, and staff. Since HoloLens fully integrate with Microsoft Teams, there may be options for users to visit the conference room for hybrid meetings across campus.
Playing to Learn: HoloLens Apps Under Consideration
Ashland University's Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (CITE) provides Oculus/Meta Quest VR headsets and software for faculty, with training offered by LearnAU instructional designers. One-on-One training is offered, as are workshops and pop-up events.
