Select an Article

• Identify a trend or topic that concerns sport, recreation, play, or leisure.
• Find a peer-reviewed (scholarly, academic) article published within the last ten years.
• Cannot use articles from magazines (ex. Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek) or newspapers for this assignment.

Notecard and Presentation

In addition to selecting an article, you are to give a 3-5-minute presentation and introduce your article to your classmates.  Students are required to submit a notecard with a properly formatted APA citation to their peers.

Notecards should be 3 x 5 in size with citation typed and pasted on the front plus two questions typed and pasted on the back.Notecard must also be 2-hole punched. Presenter is permitted to ask questions to promote discussion about his/her selected article.

A copy of article is not required for submission.
