Print Policy

You are agreeing to pay for this service as detailed in the IRC Poster Sizes and Pricing service description.

You acknowledge the IRC and Archer Library are not responsible for design errors in the poster or problems which may occur due to storage of the submitted file.

You acknowledge you have abided by the University's academic integrity policy standards.

You acknowledge the poster abides to U.S. Copyright code title 17 framework for copyright that governs printing of copyrighted materials.

The IRC reserves the right to deny printing requests not meeting these standards.

Pricing Guidelines

Carefully review pricing guidelines and policies prior to submitting your project for printing.

 

About the poster printer: The IRC poster printer is an HP DesignJet T830 24; we offer six different poster size options for printing. Printing is processed on HP coated paper. The IRC poster printer is available for current Ashland University students, faculty, and staff.

 

Poster Cost: Pricing is determined by the length of each poster; width is always 24” or less.

Print Guidelines

Carefully review print guidelines and policies prior to submitting your project for printing.


Preparing to Print

Important • All project must be saved as a PDF and sized as needed.

To ensure quality of poster layout and display: 

  • Project files should be smaller than 15 MB in size.
  • Print orders must be properly sized by patron prior to submission.
  • File name should include patron last name and first name initial.

IRC faculty and staff are not responsible for the quality of submitted files. Review projects carefully, IRC faculty and staff are not responsible for identifying spelling, grammar, or page design errors.


Poster Printer Submission Form

All projects must be submitted using our online form. Once received, file size will be verified and requestors contacted with pricing details via contact information provided on the form.

  • Poster’s will not be printed prior to payment.
  • All requests are final once payment is made and poster processed.

 

Payment & Processing Print

Cash or check: Come to the IRC during operating hours, or the scheduled time, and pay for your project. Posters will be process upon receipt of payment or within 24 hours of payment being received.

Department charge: Submit account information via the online form. Printing will proceed after poster size verified with the department. The IRC does not keep account numbers on file. Transfer of funds are submitted to the business office on a monthly basis.

 

We strongly recommend patrons consider project deadlines and time of year (mid-terms, final projects) when submitting poster files for printing. Immediate turn-around is not guaranteed for projects.
