Welcome to the Instructional Resource Center printing and poster design Library Guide. Here you will find information about printing in the IRC, Archer Library second floor.

The IRC poster printer is featured, as is information on printing cost, general policies, and design resources for creating a poster, infographic, or other visual project. Explore our site and feel free to contact the IRC with questions about printing your project.

IRC Printing Overview

Printing & the IRC • Easy as 1, 2, 3

IRC printing equipment and resources are available for current Ashland University students, faculty, and staff.

1.  Print Quota Printer / Copier / Scanner

IRC and second floor computers default to our print quota printer, a multi-function copier / printer / scanner located at the print station directly outside of the IRC. We also have staplers, three-hole punches, a pencil sharpener, and a paper cutter available for use.

2.  Print Quota Printer & Color Printing

The second floor print quota printer will also print color. Access this option by using printer properties and turning off black & white prints. Each color print counts as 5 from your print quota.  If you have questions about setting up the print quota printer for color, ask in the IRC for help.

3. IRC Poster Printer

The IRC has an HP DesignJet T830, 24 inch poster printer. We offer six different poster size options for printing, perfect for class projects and assignments. Explore the IRC Poster Pricing & Policy tab for more information.
