Getting Started

FYS Activity tickets will be given to all students attending Library and WCC orientation session with their FYS class. Students will receive their ticket after completing the orientation sessions. Tickets will be pre-punched for both the library and WCC orientation sessions (starred). 

Ticket Areas & Due Date

Visit the remaining four areas - all located in Archer Library - by September 30th.  When the area's task is complete, the corresponding block on your ticket will be punched. Each area has a specific and individualized hole punch; use of a non-activity assigned/general hole punch will disqualify you from the gift card drawing. 

As detailed on the ticket, the four remaining areas are:

• Archer Library Research: Meet a librarian at the information desk
• WCC Drop-In Visit:  Drop in and meet a writing coach
• Archer Library Circulation:  Stop at the desk and check your ID
• IRC, Library 2nd floor: Visit the IRC on the second floor

Ticket Finished? 

When you have completed the activity and all ticket areas are punched, take your completed ticket to the library information desk, main floor, and receive a swag bag.

Finish the activity by turning in your completed ticket to the library information desk. We’ll scan your ID to enter you in the gift card drawing. You will have a chance to win one of three gift cards.
