This section is based on the work that was done through the exegetical process. Now it is time to take the work you did through the exegetical process and to ask some hard questions with your passage.

Some question you might ask:

• What is the text saying to me?
• Is it encouraging the reader to do something?
• Does the message of the passage serve as a warning?
• How does this passage speak broader to the Christian community?  
• Does this passage help you engage in spiritual reflections?
• Does the passage speak to the needs to you or others?
• Does the text challenge or encourage you?

• How can I use this passage to help other along in the Christian journey?
