Your Library Account

You can renew library books and manage your own library account. Look for MY LIBRARY ACCOUNT listed under Quick Links on the Library home page. 

  • OhioLINK books can usually be renewed online four times.
  • CDs, DVDs and videos requested through OhioLINK may not be renewed.
  •  This process only works for material that is not overdue.  If items are overdue, you will need to call our circulation desk 419.289.5400 and ask for a renewal.

2020-2021 Reference Assistance

Reference Librarians are here to work with AU students, faculty, and staff with the research process. In order to provide the best possible Reference Services during this time, reference help will be offered in many forms. 


Librarians are available to chat, text, and email during the Reference hours to help you with questions. For more in-depth questions, Librarians are available by appointment for Zoom or phone calls. To set these appointments you can access this doodle calendar or email ( to set up an appointment. 

Monday to Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm (weekday evening hours will vary)

Sunday 1:00pm to 7:00pm

In person

For the safety of our staff and patrons, we offer limited in-person help at our Reference desk.  For most questions, we encourage you to use one of our remote help options. Even if you visit us in person, we may refer you to the help options above. For limited in-person services, a Reference Librarian will be available: 

Monday- Wednesday 10:00am to 7:00pm

Thursday Noon to 7:00pm

Friday Noon to 5:00pm
