✹ The AU Library building is closed. It is not possible to get any items from our physical collections.
Ashland University Library is closed to the public; library staff are working remotely from home. Some staff members are assigned on a rotating schedule to report and manage daily in-office required responsibilities.

✹ Returning AU Library Materials & Fine Information

Return library materials on campus using the library book drop. It is located on the ground floor of AU Library, near the brown service entrance doors (adjacent to the Rinehart Center).
Return library materials by mail using a library rate through the USPS. material to campus at the address below. Library books can be mailed at library rate through the USPS. Use the address located in the left menu of this guide.
If you have oversized items that will not fit in the book drop, e.g. big books and games, contact the library for additional information.
Library Fines have been waived for all returned materials until further notice. Once materials have been returned, it may be several days until they are removed from your account.
AU Library and ATS Library materials may be returned at either location. Contact Daniel O'Brien, firstname.lastname@example.org, ATS Library, with questions about ATS Library materials.
✹ OhioLINK material requests and deliveries remain suspended as of May 4 , 2020

As of March 17, OhioLINK has indefinitely suspended lending across OhioLINK’s member institutions.
Outstanding OhioLINK requests have been canceled and delivery suspended as of March 18.
The option for requesting physical items from OhioLINK for new check-outs has been deactivated and OhioLINK deliveries suspended.
Interlibrary Loan & Government Documents

AU Library will be processing interlibrary loan article requests beginning Monday, May 11. If you need a (single) specific chapter from a book, please place your request as an article with page range clearly identified.
