Library Instruction

Library instruction

Literacy & Instruction

Library instruction and the information literacy framework are key to student research and library success. Librarians can design tutorials and quizzes, develop instructional videos, and more to help you meet your student learning outcomes and assignment objectives. Your AU Librarians have extensive in-person and online instruction experience. We also have a librarian with instructional design training.

Library Video Tutorials

We recommend asynchronous library instruction for your students at this time; recorded tutorials will help those with spotty internet connections. YouTube videos provide closed caption for those who may need/want this option.

AU Library Guides

AU Library's LibGuides - aka Library Guides - are a great way to provide personalized access to library resources. Explore our current collection to see if they may be right for your class. Submit your request using our streamlined LibGuide Request form, or contact us directly.  Contact a librarian, information is detailed below.
