Juvenile Collection: Math Resources

It is possible to locate children's books, juvenile fiction and non-fiction (literature), in the AU library catalog performing a keyword search for "math" and modifying your search to "MAIN Juvenile."

You may also use the Advanced Keyword Search option. Select Advanced Search from the Other Searches box on the library catalog main page; enter math (any field) and limit location to main juvenile. Results displayed will include children's books pertaining to the general subject of math.

Keep in mind this search strategy will not return books on a specific math topic, such as 'zero the number' or 'comparison philosophy.' Click on the Math Topics & Concepts tab for help locating math topics.

Another way to locate books on a specific subject area is to utilize Library of Congress subject headings, this how books are described and indexed in the catalog. Listed below are a few subject headings used for math related topics. Select a topic from the chart, click on a link to be directed to the catalog, and review books we have available.
