Looking for Juvenile Non-Fiction

Looking for juvenile non-fiction in the library catalog? Juvenile literature is most often part of a specific subject heading for non-fiction titles. For example:

Title: I Have A Dream
Location: MAIN Juvenile E185.97.K5 A5 2012
Subject: African Americans - Civil Rights - Juvenile Literature

What does this mean?
Search for a topic or subject when looking for non-fiction titles.

How?  Use Keyword or advanced search in the library catalog.

--> Enter your topic
--> limit the location option to AU juvenile
--> Search

As you browse books returned, titles will include juvenile literature as part of a non-fiction subject heading. Note that a non-fiction call number will NOT begin with PZ7 (juvenile fiction). Remember, all juvenile titles are located on the second floor and include call numbers A through Z.

Quick start! Use Keyword search in the library catalog

--> Enter your topic
--> add "and juvenile literature" to the search string
--> limit location to AU Juvenile
--> Search

Here's an example: teacher and juvenile literature is the search with AU Juvenile as a location. Keep in mind, this will not provide a complete list of non-fiction available, but is a place to start.
